You can sign in via Library Catalogue to:

  • View your loans and due dates
  • Renew checked out items (providing they are not overdue or recalled)
  • Search the catalogue and request items
  • View your requests, or cancel them

Lost Items

Please notify library staff if you have lost or damaged a library resource. You may be charged a replacement fee that reflects the average book purchase price. If there are extenuating circumstances, please let library staff know.

If you can't find the item you need at Tabor,  you may be able to borrow it from the other libraries.

Borrowing - how long?

 Whether you're an online or onsite student, loan conditions have been simplified and streamlined to ensure you get access to a title when you need it. Required texts are in our ASK high demand collection, while all other titles follow our standard, 7 day loan policy:

 

  • 7 day loan - Regular loan (automatically renews 4 times)
  • 3 day loan - ASK high demand collection (automatically renews 4 times)

Renewing Items

Need a book that's already on loan? - You can place a request on a title so that when it's returned, you are next in line.

Recalled items - You will receive a recall notice When another patron has requested an item that you have borrowed, you will receive an email. Recalled items can not be renewed and should be returned by the due date

Automatic renewals - Automatic renewals occur 4 times for high demand and regular loans. Once the maximum renewal period has been reached, or an item has been recalled, automatic renewals will be blocked

Email notifications - A courtesy notice is sent when an item is to be returned

Unable to visit the library? - Physical titles can be posted to your address if you unable to visit the physical library. Our document delivery service also means we can scan and email 1 chapter or 10% of a book to your Tabor student email address.
